I cannot access real-time information like live traffic or weather updates. However, I can tell you that there are two main reasons why you might see a helicopter flying over Alphen aan den Rijn:
- Police activity: The police sometimes use helicopters to assist in investigations or pursuits. For instance, in an article from April 2023, there were reports of a large police presence with officers in bulletproof vests and a police helicopter flying overhead .
- Medical transport: Trauma helicopters are used to transport seriously injured patients to hospitals.
If you are concerned about a particular helicopter or incident, you can always contact the Dutch police or emergency services. They will be able to provide you with more information.
